Customization FAQ
What can be customized in an OEM/ODM project?
Appearance and structure, function, materials and process, packaging, and brand visuals. Weisi provides full technical support from requirements analysis and structural design through sample development, test validation, and mass-production introduction.
Do you support new product development from scratch?
Yes. Weisi is R&D-driven: a 10-person team with 15+ years of experience (core engineers from Samsung and Huawei supply chains) supports new product development, small-batch trial production, and full-scale mass production.
Can you build high-power and high-speed cables?
Yes. Weisi manufactures USB-C cables up to 240W, and high-speed lines including USB 3.2 Gen2 with laser-welded terminals and USB4 cables supporting 40Gbps/80Gbps custom development.
What is an E-Marker chip and do your cables include one?
An E-Marker is an identification chip required in USB-C cables rated above 60W (100W/240W) — it tells the charger and device the cable’s certified current and data capability. Weisi’s 100W/240W cable models are built with E-Marker chips as required by the USB-C specification.
