Sourcing

Is Weisi a factory or a trading company?

Weisi is a factory. Dongguan Weisi Electronic Technology Co., Ltd operates a 4,500㎡ manufacturing facility in Tangxia Town, Dongguan, China, with 100+ core machines, 2 automated production lines added in May 2026, and a capacity of 3,000,000 cables per month.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ depends on the model and level of customization. Weisi supports small-batch trial production for new products before scaling to mass production — send us your target quantity and we will confirm feasibility and pricing within 24 hours.

Which markets does Weisi currently serve?

Weisi serves global 3C brands, top Amazon e-commerce brands, overseas consumer-electronics companies, and professional buyers, with a focus on North America and Europe. Charger lines are available in US, EU, and UK plug versions.

Can I visit the factory or run a third-party audit?

Yes. Factory visits and third-party audits are welcome. The facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified and located in Tangxia Town, Dongguan, about an hour from both Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

How fast do you respond to inquiries?

We aim to respond to every inquiry within 24 hours with a technical assessment and next steps.

Customization

What can be customized in an OEM/ODM project?

Appearance and structure, function, materials and process, packaging, and brand visuals. Weisi provides full technical support from requirements analysis and structural design through sample development, test validation, and mass-production introduction.

Do you support new product development from scratch?

Yes. Weisi is R&D-driven: a 10-person team with 15+ years of experience (core engineers from Samsung and Huawei supply chains) supports new product development, small-batch trial production, and full-scale mass production.

Can you build high-power and high-speed cables?

Yes. Weisi manufactures USB-C cables up to 240W, and high-speed lines including USB 3.2 Gen2 with laser-welded terminals and USB4 cables supporting 40Gbps/80Gbps custom development.

What is an E-Marker chip and do your cables include one?

An E-Marker is an identification chip required in USB-C cables rated above 60W (100W/240W) — it tells the charger and device the cable’s certified current and data capability. Weisi’s 100W/240W cable models are built with E-Marker chips as required by the USB-C specification.

Quality & Compliance

What certifications does Weisi hold?

Weisi is ISO 9001:2015 certified and manufactures with RoHS-compliant materials, with RoHS test reports managed per material (UV glue, TPE, tin, packaging). CE EMC and FCC compliance documentation for specific product lines is available on request.

How is product quality tested?

Every incoming material batch is inspected against engineering drawings with results logged in Weisi’s CRP system. The in-house lab runs 8 instruments covering vision inspection, insertion/extraction force, aging, transport vibration, abrasion, bend-life, salt spray, and UV weathering. Finished goods are tested on real phones and computers to simulate daily use.

How many bend cycles do your cables withstand?

Bend-life is validated in-house on a dedicated cable bend-life tester, covering the cable body, strain relief, and connection points. Target cycle counts are set per model and customer specification — ask us for the test protocol for your product.

Is production traceable?

Yes. Weisi’s proprietary CRP digital system links customer requirements, R&D, materials, production scheduling, quality inspection, and delivery — quality records are systematized, queryable, and traceable.

Logistics

Where is Weisi located and how do you ship?

The factory is in Tangxia Town, Dongguan, Guangdong — in the middle of the Shenzhen–Dongguan electronics corridor, close to Shenzhen ports for sea and air freight. Shipping terms (FOB/EXW/DDP) are agreed per order.

What is the typical production lead time?

Lead time depends on model, quantity, and customization level, and is confirmed at quotation. The CRP system provides real-time order tracking and scheduling, which keeps promised dates reliable.

Do you support packaging customization for retail and Amazon FBA?

Yes. Packaging (including retail color boxes) is part of Weisi’s OEM/ODM customization scope, and packaging materials are covered by RoHS test reporting. Transport packaging is validated on an in-house vibration simulation bench.
